About Carolyn

Carolyn is a knowledge seeker, a wisdom sharer, a fun explorer, a confidante, a difference maker, a writer, an acceptor, a forgiver, a giver, and a receiver. She deeply honours her roles as a mother of 3 adult children, a grandmother to one sweet toddler, a wife soon to celebrate 34 years of marriage, a sister, a friend and a soft place to land for many.

Professionally, Carolyn is a teacher with 32 years of classroom experience, an MRA coach and a Nurtured Heart Approach trainer.  She is the co-founder of Heart Lifting Solutions - a practice where she empowers educators and parents with new tools to see what’s going right with a child’s behavior. This lens lights the path for kids to shift challenging behavior such as tantrums, aggression, defiance or anxiety to behaviors that leave both kids and adults feeling successful, connected, confident, and hopeful.

Carolyn’s super power is the ability to see What’s Going Right, especially when things seem to be going wrong. This gift has been the catalyst in transforming the lives of many children.
